Terms of Service

1. What Feddy is

Feddy lets the people who use your app or website send you a message from inside it, and lets you answer from one inbox. You add our SDK to your product; your users’ messages arrive in your Feddy dashboard; your replies reach them in your product and, if you have connected a sending domain, by email. Feddy can also suggest or send answers with the help of AI models, under settings you control.

2. Your account

• You need a verified email address to use Feddy. Keep your password to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else has it.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what people you invite do inside it.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or old enough to enter into a contract where you live.
• One person, one account. You may belong to several teams with it.

3. Your users’ data

Messages, attachments, email addresses and device details that your users send through the SDK are your data. You own them. We process them on your behalf to run the Service, and only for that. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

• You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect what you collect through Feddy, and for telling your users about it in your own privacy policy.
• Do not use Feddy to collect data that needs special protection — health or financial records, government identifiers, data about children under 13 — or anything you would not want to see in an ordinary support inbox.
• When AI features are on, the content of a conversation and the answers you have written are sent to AI model providers to produce a reply or a suggestion. Turn the features off and nothing is sent.
• We do not sell your data and do not use your users’ messages to train models.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

• send unsolicited or bulk email, or anything unlawful, harassing or deceptive;
• impersonate another person or company, including through the sending domain you connect;
• probe, overload or interfere with the Service, or get around its limits;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service beyond what the law allows.

Email you send through Feddy goes out from a domain you own and have verified. If messages from a project bounce or are marked as spam at a rate that puts delivery at risk, we may pause email for that project and tell you; replies still reach your users inside your product.

5. Plans, trials and payment

• Feddy has a free plan and paid plans. What each includes is described on the pricing page and inside the dashboard, and may change over time; changes to a plan you pay for take effect at your next renewal, and we will tell you at least 30 days ahead.
• A new account gets a 14-day trial of the Pro plan after verifying its email address. No card is needed; when the trial ends the account continues on the free plan with nothing deleted.
• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; the plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not refund partial periods except where the law requires it.
• Usage beyond what your plan includes (AI replies, emails to your users) is billed at the rates shown on the billing page, up to a monthly ceiling you set. At the ceiling those features pause until the next period.
• Founder pricing, where offered, keeps the price of your plan fixed for as long as the subscription stays continuously active. It ends if the subscription is cancelled or lapses.
• Prices exclude taxes. Where we have to charge tax, it is added to the invoice.

6. Availability and support

We work to keep Feddy available and to fix problems quickly, and we monitor the Service around the clock, but we do not promise a particular level of uptime. Support is by email at hi@feddy.app.

7. Ending the agreement

• You can delete your account at any time from the account settings. This deletes your projects, conversations and attachments, and cannot be undone. An account with an active subscription, or with other people still on its projects, has to resolve those first — the dashboard tells you what.
• When an account is deleted we remove its data from our systems promptly and from backups within 30 days.
• We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, immediately where the breach is serious (spam, abuse, unlawful content) and otherwise after notice.
• We may stop offering the Service with at least 90 days’ notice, and will give you a way to export your data first.

8. Our software

The Feddy SDKs are released under their own open-source licences, which are included with them. Everything else in the Service is ours. You may use it while these terms are in force and may not copy it, except that you may take your own data out at any time.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, including that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or business. Our total liability to you for anything arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You will cover us for claims from third parties that arise from your use of the Service in breach of these terms, including from the data you choose to collect through it.

10. Changes and law

• We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email the account owner at least 14 days before it takes effect; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept it.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
• If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
